Education and Awareness
The Polish Hospices Foundation actively supports the development of knowledge about palliative care and the role of hospices. We believe that reliable information and continuous education are crucial for ensuring dignified care for patients across Poland. Here you will find information about the Polish hospice movement, admission criteria, and our educational materials.
Hospice Care in Poland
Palliative care is a right. Currently, there are approximately 234 facilities (home hospices, inpatient hospices, and palliative medicine departments) in Poland that provide assistance. Our Foundation works towards the standardization and professionalization of these centers.
